Pentati is proud to be the first village on the island to pledge its full support for and have an active involvement in Corfu's bid to be the European Capital of Culture in 2021.

We will be helping not only to promote the bid but also to gather information about the cultural assets of every village on the island and what is required to return them to a working order. We will also be asking about the greater needs of each village (no doubt roads will featire highly!) and a future wish list such as renewable energy because the plan is to continue with the island cultural project regardless of the success or failure of the bid.

Pentati is a little ahead of this game because our own village project has been working on a similar smaller scale project since April 2015.

We are delighted to have been asked to help with an island wide cultural project.
