Rubbish cleared by hand - Pentati is clean!

The mountains of rubbish on the ground in Pentati & Paramonas have been cleared by hand by the villagers after being told that the bins will not be emptied otherwise. Well done to Spiros Merianos the Mayor of Pentati and his villagers for their efforts to resolve this situation.

Celebrating The 1821 Greek Revolution

Today in 1821 the Greeks rebelled after 400 years of slavery to gain freedom from the Turks. The rebellion lasted 6-7 years. Spiros Merianos the Mayor of Pentati lays a reef of rememberance and respect at the church on behalf of the village.
